This opportunity is for laboratories to provide stable isotope analysis services for the US Geological Survey (USGS) Florence Bascom Geoscience Center. - USGS requires up to 2,000 stable isotope analyses (carbon-13 and oxygen-18) on carbonate microfossils from marine sediment samples. - Analyses must be performed with high precision on small samples (as little as 5–59 micrograms). - Services include sample preparation (weighing, sorting, rinsing, drying, capping), use of Carrara Marble standards, and delivery of corrected isotope data (VPDB values, isotope ratios, uncertainties, correlations, signal intensity). - All analyses must be completed within six months of sample receipt, with final delivery by September 30, 2027. - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; the opportunity is open to qualified laboratories with mass spectrometry capabilities. - Quality assurance and timely delivery are required. - The contract may extend into subsequent years if additional work is needed.

The USGS Florence Bascom Geoscience Center is seeking information from qualified laboratories capable of performing stable isotope analyses on carbonate microfossils according to the specifications in the attached Statement of Work. Up to 2,000 analyses will be required through FY27.
