The Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center is seeking to procure a comprehensive TrackCore Implant Tracking Solution for use across VA medical centers and outpatient clinics. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Procurement Operations, Technology Acquisition Center - OEMs and Vendors: - TrackCore (primary solution and hardware OEM) - PAR Excellence Systems, Inc. (TrackCore solution provider) - Zebra Technologies (Zebra ZD421 Thermal Printer) - Honeywell (Xenon 1960 and 1962 Scanners) - Products/Services Requested: - RFID-enabled medical storage units (cabinets, refrigerators, freezers) with part numbers such as TC2-001, TC2-004, TC2-014, TC2-020-115V, TC2-020-208V, TC2-003, TC2-012, TC2-011, TC2-013, TC2-007 - Peripheral devices: Zebra ZD421 Thermal Printers (PR-ZD421), Honeywell Xenon 1960 (1960HHD-5USB-N) and 1962 (1962GHD-2USB-5-N) Scanners - RFID tags, access badges, labels, baskets, and related supplies - Implementation fees, on-site and virtual training, annual license/maintenance, technical support, extended warranties, and VistA integration services - Quantities: - Up to 15 units each of large/small RFID cabinets and refrigerators, up to 40 large RFID freezers (115V), up to 30 large RFID freezers (208V), 76 scanners, 38 printers, 100 packs of RFID tags, and various quantities of other supplies and services - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Solution must integrate with the Federal Electronic Health Record (FEHR) system on the Cerner/Oracle Health platform - Compliance with VHA Directive 1081.02 and FDA regulations - Coverage for 89 existing and 57 additional VA medical centers and outpatient centers - Deliverables include quarterly reports and AI compliance documentation - Implementation, training, and warranty services are required for all hardware and software components
