Description

The United States Air Force (USAF) has implemented an Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution to modernize the management of weapon systems throughout their lifecycle. This initiative aligns with the Air Force's broader strategic goals to integrate capabilities, revolutionize processes, and enable lifecycle digital materiel management. The current PLM implementation leverages Siemens Teamcenter, a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solution hosted within the Cloud One environment, to empower program offices with centralized, secure, and integrated tools for engineering, manufacturing, sustainment, and asset retirement activities.
