THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This synopsis/solicitation 1333MG26Q0007 constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ).
The NOAA Hollings Marine Laboratory has a requirement for preventative maintenance on 29 microscopes in accordance with the attached Statement of Work at the NOAA Hollings Marine Laboratory in Charleston SC. All services rendered shall be in accordance with the Statement of Work, and the Service Contract Labor Standards, Wage Determination No. 2015-4427, Date of Last Revision 08/22/2026.
This requirement includes a one-year base period with four one-year option periods. The estimated base year period of performance will be 9/30/26 - 9/29/27
The Government will award a firm fixed price contract based on Best Value Trade-Off. Quotes shall include all costs associated with each CLIN unless otherwise indicated on the vendor’s quote.
This RFQ is set aside for Small Business. The associated NAICS code is 811210, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance

All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted via electronic means (e-mail) by 11:00 A.M. Eastern on September 10, 2026; any award resulting from this RFQ will be made based on best value to the Government.
