Description

The CREST Center awards support Minority-serving institutions (MSIs) to enhance research capabilities by establishing centers that integrate education and research in STEM fields. The awards promote new knowledge development, faculty research productivity, and increased participation of underrepresented students in STEM. Proposals must align with the Division of Equity for Excellence in STEM's mission to develop a diverse STEM workforce and involve underrepresented faculty, students, and postdoctoral researchers. Funding is available for Phase I and Phase II projects, with preliminary proposals required and invitations needed to submit full proposals. CREST Partnership Supplements are also available to support collaborations with recognized research centers and other entities.
