Description

The Town of Chapel Hill is seeking a contractor to provide all materials, labor, and equipment for the Legion Pond Dam project. The work includes dewatering the existing pond, discharging water onto a rock pad to minimize erosion, using the principal outlet barrel for daily water flow, and demolishing the dam and embankment from the top down while maintaining bypass flow. Earth-moving equipment such as excavators, loaders, and dump trucks will be used. No pre-bid conference will be held, and sealed bids must be submitted by September 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
