The City of Beaumont Water Utilities/Administration is seeking bids for the rehabilitation and pump replacement of Loeb Well No. 3. - Government Buyer: - City of Beaumont, Water Utilities/Administration, Water Administration office - Scope of Work: - Contractor mobilization and demobilization - Well video inspection and follow-up inspection after cleaning - Installation and removal of steel tanks and temporary discharge piping - Chlorination and acid treatment of well screens - Mechanical brush cleaning and agitation of well - Screen and casing repair (up to 5 units) - Well and pump performance testing, including vibration tests - Supply and installation of steel fabricated discharge head with motor register - Supply and installation of new column assembly and water level monitoring system - Supply and installation of new well pumps with 18DHC 6-stage oil bowl assemblies for three flow rates: - 2,500 gpm at 245 feet TDH - 3,000 gpm at 280 feet TDH - 3,500 gpm at 320 feet TDH - Testing of pump and motor assembly - Transport and installation of existing well motor - Re-installation of existing oil pot assembly - Well start-up and purging - Site restoration - Products Requested: - Steel fabricated/welded discharge head with motor register (1 unit) - New column assembly and water level monitoring system (1 unit) - New well pumps (1 unit each for 2,500, 3,000, and 3,500 gpm at specified TDH) - Services Requested: - Acid treatment, brush cleaning, screen and casing repair, performance testing, site restoration - Unique Requirements: - All work must comply with detailed plans and specifications - Mandatory pre-bid conference for all bidders - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; bidders may propose suitable well pump manufacturers - Quantities: - Most items are single lump-sum; screen and casing repair is up to 5 units - Notable Technical Details: - Well pumps must be 18DHC 6-stage oil bowl assemblies, designed for specified flow rates and total dynamic head (TDH) - Acid treatment options include hydrochloric or hydroxyacetic acid - Water level monitoring system and vibration testing are required - No named OEMs; bidders may select appropriate manufacturers for well pumps and assemblies.

This solicitation is an Invitation to Bid for the rehabilitation and pump replacement of Loeb Well No. 3.
