Rancho California Water District is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the construction of approximately 2,200 linear feet of new asphalt roadway over an existing dirt roadway on District-owned property. The project includes subgrade preparation, placement of 5 inches of compacted hot mix asphalt, roadway tie-in to existing pavement, pavement edge backfill and compaction, testing, and seal coating of approximately 22,500 square feet of existing asphalt pavement. Bidders must provide separate lump-sum pricing for a 12-foot-wide Base Bid and a 15-foot-wide Alternate Bid, with the District awarding one of the two alternatives. The project is subject to California Public Works prevailing wage requirements, and bidders must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations and hold a valid California Class A or Class C-12 contractor license.
