Description

NASA/Information Technology Procurement Office (ITPO) has a requirement for Nikon VOXLS 20 C 225 X-ray System for NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) to provide advanced, high-resolution, three-dimensional (3D) volumetric imaging capabilities essential for nondestructive inspection and characterization of aerospace materials, components, and assemblies.

NASA/ITPO intends to issue a sole source contract to acquire the items from Nikon Metrology, LLC under the authority of FAR 6.103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  Nikon Metrology, LLC is the sole source provider for the Nikon VOXLS 20 C 225 X-ray System.

The Government intends to acquire a commercial product or service using FAR Part 12.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Jonathan Gomez at jonathan.g.gomez@nasa.gov and Christina Ostronic at christina.m.ostronic@nasa.gov not later than 3:00 PM CDT on 09/01/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis. A decision by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
