The U.S. Embassy Pretoria, under the U.S. Department of State, is seeking contractors for a comprehensive residential plumbing renovation and bathroom fit-out project at the Canopus 214 residence. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Embassy Pretoria (Project Manager: Etienne Smit) - OEMs and Vendors: - Stiebel (for integrated heat pump geysers; government-supplied) - VAAL (for basins; or approved equivalent) - Plumline (for mixers; or approved equivalent) - GV Bella (for shower arm; or approved equivalent) - Products/Services Requested: - Interior plumbing revamp with copper ring feed water distribution - Complete fit-out of multiple bathrooms, including: - Toilets (close-coupled or wall-hung) - Basins (VAAL 704201 Weaver Rectangular Counter Basin White 570x450 or equivalent) - Mixer taps (Plumline Corvus Basin/Sink Mixer or equivalent) - Medicine cabinets with mirrors - Double vanities - Vanity units with under-counter cabinets - Showers (GV Bella JB-30 Shower Arm 30x300 or equivalent) - Bathtubs (freestanding or built-in with Plumline Corvus U/Wall Bath/Shower Mixer or equivalent) - Staff quarters kitchen and bathroom plumbing (double kitchen sink, full tiling) - Laundry area plumbing (double wash trough with taps, full tiling) - Installation of two integrated heat pump geysers (Stiebel Integrated Heat Pump 300L or equivalent; supplied by government) - Surface reinstatement and finishing - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strict adherence to SABS standards for all work - Fixed price offers with no provision for price or exchange rate fluctuations - Compulsory site meeting for bidders - Contractors must be registered in SAM.gov and comply with NDAA Section 889(a)(1)(B) - Payment via EFT within 30 days after completion and invoicing - Project management, safety planning, and daily logs required - Full turn-key fit-out for each bathroom and staff quarters - Final inspection, testing, and handover required

Ground Floor Bathroom (Toilet, single basin with mixer, and medicine cabinet with mirror) Master Bathroom Ensuite — Upper Floor (Double sinks, vanity and cabinet, shower, toilet, and bathtub) Bathroom 2 — Upper Floor Passage (Double sinks, vanity and cabinet, shower, toilet, and bathtub) Staff Quarters Kitchen (Double sink installation, full floor and wall tiling) Staff Quarters Bathroom (Toilet, single basin, medicine cabinet with mirror, and shower) Laundry Area (Washing machine cold water point, double wash trough, full floor and wall tiling) Heat Pump Installation (Two integrated heat pump geysers — supplied by U.S. Government; positions to be confirmed on site)

A compulsory site meeting will be held on 9 September 2026, at 10am at 214 Canopus str,  Waterkloof, Pretoria, South Africa.

A final scope of work will be sent to all who attended the site meeting.

Due date for tenders is C.O.B. on 16 September 2026.

U.S Government Payment terms:

Note that NO DEPOSIT payments will be authorized.

The Embassy issues only fixed priced contracts; therefore, you must confirm that your prices will remain fixed. The US Embassy will make no provision for fluctuations in price or exchange rates once the order has been placed. If your price is dependent on these fluctuations, you MUST make provision for possible increases in your quoted price.

Available Payment methods:

EFT – Payment will be made within 30 calendar days after delivery of goods and/or services AND receipt of invoice, whichever is later.

The attached FAR and DOSAR clauses attached form part of this contract.

All parties must be registered in System for award management. www.sam.gov. Instructions are attached. Please provide your Unique ID once you are registered in SAM.
