The 22nd Maintenance Group at McConnell Air Force Base is seeking a contractor to overhaul its Consolidated Tool Kit (CTK) storage facility. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force, 22nd Maintenance Group (22 MXG), McConnell AFB, Kansas - OEMs and Vendors: - Rousseau Metal (baseline manufacturer for shelving and cabinets) - Products Requested: - 250 heavy-duty industrial steel shelving units - Rousseau Metal Spider System Model SRD2437 or equal - Dimensions: 48"W x 24"D x 87"H (or 48"W x 12"D x 99"H per solicitation) - 6 adjustable shelves, 600 lbs per shelf, heavy-gauge steel, closed sides/back or cross-bracing, powder coat finish - 20 modular heavy-duty tool drawer cabinets - Rousseau Metal R-Cabinet Series Model R5AEC-5813 or equal - Dimensions: 36"W x 18"D x 60"H - 9 full-extension drawers, 400 lbs per drawer, ball-bearing slides, central key lock (2 keys per cabinet + master key), anti-tip safety interlock, adjustable dividers, ergonomic handles - Services Requested: - Disassembly and removal of existing shelving units - Delivery, uncrating, complete assembly, leveling, alignment, and positioning of new units - Off-base disposal of packing materials and debris - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All work must be completed within 60 calendar days after receipt of order - Warranty coverage of at least one year required - Compliance with McConnell AFB base access protocols - Cabinets and shelving must match in powder coat finish (gray, blue, or black) - Safety features: anti-tip interlock, floor anchoring, locking mechanisms - Environmental compliance and debris removal on day of assembly

Description

The 22nd Maintenance Group (22 MXG) at McConnell AFB, KS, requires complete overhaul and replacement of its existing Consolidated Tool Kit (CTK) storage facility. This project requires the disassembly of existing shelving, followed by the purchase, delivery, uncrating, full assembly, leveling, and positioning of two hundred fifty (250) heavy-duty steel industrial shelving units and twenty (20) modular drawer storage cabinets to store tools, test apparatus, and aircraft maintenance equipment for efficient accountability, FOD prevention, and safe storage.
