The U.S. Coast Guard Base Boston is seeking a contractor to renovate the laundry room at Station Boston. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Coast Guard, Base Boston - Contracting Officer's Representative: Colten Brown, DCC - Scope of Work: - Removal and replacement of appliances, flooring, electrical outlets, lighting, ceiling, plumbing, cabinets, countertops, and doors - Installation of energy-efficient washers and dryers - Installation of non-slip epoxy flooring (white with blue flakes) and new sub-flooring - Replacement of electrical outlets and switches with GFCIs compliant with Massachusetts Electrical Code and NFPA 70 - Installation of LED tube lights - Replacement of drop ceiling tiles, grid system, vent openings, and inspection/replacement of ducting - Painting with minimum two coats of white latex paint and installation of cove base/base molding - Replacement of plumbing supply valves, drain lines, and dryer ducting compliant with Massachusetts Uniform State Plumbing Code - Installation of new utility sink (approx. 24x24 inches) - Installation of new light brown wood cabinets with stainless steel or black handles - Installation of new faux stone countertops - Replacement of metal door with window (store-front style) - Unique Requirements: - Compliance with EPA, OSHA, Service Contract Act, and Davis-Bacon Act - Contractor must provide dumpster service - Secure access required; contractor employees must pass background checks and be escorted - Proof of insurance required - No specific OEMs, brands, or part numbers are mentioned - Quantities specified for utility sink (1) and metal door with window (1); other items are unspecified - Work must begin within 30 days of contract award and be completed within 90 days - Work hours are Monday-Friday, 0700-1600, with exceptions requiring prior approval

Description

Remodel/ renovate the Stations laundry room. Space is inefficient and needs to be properly re-done. All work done must be completed in accordance with all local and federal regulatory standards. Flooring needs to be replaced, washers and dryers need to be replaced, cabinets and counter tops need to be replaced. Outlets and switches need to be replaced in accordance with the attached Statement Of Work (SOW). All wages and Benifits must be in accordance with the SCA and Bavis Bacon Act for the Place of Preformance and Period of Preformance.

Quoters must provide Proof Of Insurance.
