The USDA Forest Service is seeking quotations for commercial cattle guards with concrete bases for the Grand Mesa Uncompahgre Gunnison National Forest. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Intermountain Region, Grand Mesa Uncompahgre Gunnison National Forest, CSA Intermountain 4 office - Products Requested: - 2 units of 24-foot cattle guards (constructed of 12-foot sections) - 1 unit of 14-foot cattle guard (constructed of 14-foot components) - All cattle guards include: - L-shaped concrete bases with at least 24-inch bearing width - Channel grates with no access hatches - 2 wings per guard - Painted Federal Standard Color 24325 or powder coated to AAMA 2604-05 standards - Must meet AASHTO HL-93 loading requirements - All components (guards, grates, wings, bases) must be made in the USA with OEM traceability and Certificates of Conformance - Services Requested: - Delivery of all cattle guards to the North Delta Administrative Site in Delta, CO - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All items must be manufactured in the United States - Compliance with Buy American requirements - Delivery required within 90 days after contract award; early delivery is accepted - Submission of technical proposal with product details and literature, and a Buy American Certificate - No specific OEMs or part numbers are named in the solicitation or attachments.

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.  Solicitation number 1240LP26Q0160 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Cattle Guards with concrete bases.  

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 332323 - Ornamental and Architectural Metal Work Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 500 employees.  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
