NOAA's Northeast Fisheries Science Center in Woods Hole, MA is seeking to replace damaged mini-split ductless AC systems in its main building. - Government Buyer: - National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) - Western Acquisition Division, Seattle-SAP - OEMs and Vendors: - Mitsubishi Electric (preferred OEM; Mitsubishi Hi2 PLUS or equivalent specified) - Products/Services Requested: - Three new multi-zone hyper-heating R454B mini-split systems (minimum SEER 20) - 7 indoor wall-mounted units (Rooms: 202, 204, 206, 208, 320, 226, 120) - 3 outdoor condenser units (roof-mounted, withstand 95 MPH wind gusts, above historical snow line) - New electrical sub-panel (100 Amps minimum) - Removal and disposal of three existing mini-split heat pump systems - Complete installation, commissioning, and testing of new systems (including refrigerant charging, condensate drainage testing) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Systems must operate down to -13°F and comply with ASHRAE standards - R454B refrigerant required - Warranty period of one year from final acceptance - Small business set-aside under NAICS 238220 - Bid guarantee and performance/payment bonds required - Site visit scheduled for prospective bidders - All work must be completed within 90 days after Notice to Proceed - Installation includes new roof mounts and electrical upgrades - Preference for Mitsubishi Hi2 PLUS or equivalent systems
