Description

The Vermont Agency of Natural Resources Climate Action Office seeks a qualified contractor to update and expand Vermont’s existing life cycle greenhouse gas emissions analysis originally developed in 2023. The work includes updating life cycle emissions factors, adding pathways for Renewable Diesel and expanded biofuel categories, reevaluating wood and wood pellet pathways using Northeast specific data, and calculating the life cycle mass of emissions for each energy source. The contractor must develop, present, and refine the analytical methodology based on State feedback and produce a detailed methodology report. The final deliverable will be a complete, publication-ready life cycle GHG analysis to supplement Vermont’s Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory and Forecast, with all work completed by May 31, 2027.
