Miami University is soliciting proposals for comprehensive fine art logistics services for the relocation, temporary storage, and subsequent return of the Richard and Carol Cocks Art Museum collection. The project involves professional packing, transportation, inventory control, temporary storage, and return relocation of approximately 17,500 to 18,000 collection objects. The contractor must provide all necessary project management, labor, equipment, custom crates, environmental controls, security, and documentation to ensure the safe handling and care of the collection. Storage is expected to begin in October 2026 and continue through approximately September 2027, with the collection returned after building renovations. The contractor must maintain museum standards for environmental control, security, and collections care throughout the project.
