New Hanover County Schools is seeking proposals for nursing services to support special education students across 45 public schools. - Government Buyer: - New Hanover County Schools, Special Education and Related Services, Purchasing Office - Contact: Brad Lackey, CLGPO, Purchasing Officer - Services Requested: - Registered Nurse (RN) Services - Professional nursing care, health plan development, medication administration, emergency response, clinical supervision - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Services - Direct nursing care, medication administration, health monitoring, support under RN supervision - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Services - Basic health assistance, personal care, activities of daily living, support for students with disabilities - Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Services - Non-medical support for daily functioning, mobility, feeding, participation in educational activities - Scope & Requirements: - Services for students with disabilities ages 3-21, in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and state regulations - Pricing requested per hour for each service category - Personnel must hold appropriate North Carolina licensure/certification and CPR certification - All staff must pass background checks and comply with district policies - Local supervision required; adherence to confidentiality laws (FERPA, HIPAA) - Minority participation encouraged - No specific OEMs or vendors named; open to qualified providers

Description

New Hanover County Schools is soliciting sealed proposals for Nursing Services including Registered Nurses (RN), Certified Pediatric Nurses (CPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to provide special education and related services to students with disabilities during the 2026-2027 school year. Services will be provided in school settings to students aged 3 through 21 years old, in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and applicable regulations. The contract includes an option to renew for two additional years in one-year increments. Proposals must be submitted in separate sealed envelopes for technical and cost proposals by September 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
