The work includes subgrade preparation, placement of 5 inches of compacted hot mix asphalt, roadway tie-in to existing pavement, pavement edge backfill and compaction, testing, and seal coating of approximately 22,500 square feet of existing asphalt pavement. Bidders must provide separate lump-sum pricing for a 12-foot-wide base bid and a 15-foot-wide alternate bid, both including seal-coat work, with only one alternative to be awarded.
