Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service intends to request an extension and revision of a previously approved information collection titled National Organic Program: Strengthening Organic Enforcement (SOE). This information collection supports the implementation and enforcement of organic regulations, including activities such as nonretail labels, traceability procedures, organic certificates, unannounced inspections, and inspector training. The extension will allow AMS to continue fully implementing organic regulations and to integrate these activities into the National Organic Program information collection. Respondents include operations seeking or maintaining USDA organic certification, accredited certifying agents, inspectors, and State and foreign program officials.
