Description
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) announces its plan to renew an Information Collection Request (ICR) titled "Non-Insulin-Treated Diabetes Mellitus Assessment Form, MCSA-5872." This voluntary information collection is used by certified medical examiners (MEs) to communicate with healthcare providers managing diabetes care for commercial motor vehicle operators diagnosed with non-insulin-treated diabetes mellitus. The collected information assists MEs in determining if these individuals meet FMCSA's physical qualification standards for operating commercial motor vehicles. Public comments are invited until October 26, 2026.
