Description

The New England Fishery Management Council is scheduling a public hybrid meeting of its Scallop Joint Advisory Panel and Plan Development Team to consider actions affecting New England fisheries in the exclusive economic zone (EEZ). The meeting will focus on developing input on potential specification alternatives for fishing years 2027 and 2028, including setting Acceptable Biological Catch/Annual Catch Limits, days-at-sea, access area allocations, and other management measures. Recommendations from this group will be brought to the full Council for formal consideration and action, if appropriate. The meeting will be held virtually and in person at the Hilton Garden Inn Boston Logan.
