Description

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) is establishing a new matching program with the Department of the Treasury's Do Not Pay (DNP) Working System to identify and prevent improper payments and conduct related recovery activities. This program will enable OPM Retirement Services to compare records maintained in OPM systems with those in the DNP Working System to verify pre-payment eligibility. The matching program supports verification of continued eligibility for retirement benefit payments under the Civil Service Retirement System (CSRS) and Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS). OPM has determined that this program satisfies the eligibility requirements for a waiver of the computer matching agreement requirement under OMB Memorandum M-25-32.
