Description

The Scientific and Statistical Committee (SSC) of the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council (Council) will hold a public meeting. The SSC will review recent survey and fishery data and the recommended 2027 Acceptable Biological Catch (ABC) for Spiny Dogfish, Atlantic Mackerel, and Illex squid. They will discuss Terms of Reference, potential adjustments to the Illex squid quota, and receive an overview of the Longfin squid stock assessment and Marine Recreational Information Program Fishing Effort Survey calibration results.
