Description

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is considering issuance of an amendment to the Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF76 for the South Texas Project, Unit 1. The proposed amendment would extend the allowed outage time for the Main Feedwater System from 4 hours to 24 hours to facilitate repairs to the Unit 1 train D main feedwater isolation valve. The NRC is providing an opportunity for public comment, requests for hearing, and petitions for leave to intervene.
