Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) is seeking to procure ten (10) JJ-CCR Closed Circuit Rebreather Underwater Breathing Apparatus (UBA) from Extreme Exposure via a sole source contract. - The JJ-CCR rebreathers are required for underwater operations, including all necessary operational equipment and repair parts for maintenance over the next year. - Extreme Exposure is the only authorized U.S. dealer for JJ-CCR rebreathers, making this a non-competitive procurement. - The procurement is urgent due to mission and training timelines, with timely delivery needed for testing and training. - The contract will be Firm-Fixed-Price and conducted under FAR Part 12 (commercial products) and FAR 6.103-1 (only one responsible source). - NAICS code is 459110 (Sporting Goods Retailers), size standard $26.5M. - No competitive proposals will be accepted; this is not a solicitation for bids.

Description

This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. This is not a solicitation or request to offers. No solicitation package is available and telephone request will not be honored. 

The Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC), Contracting Department, San Diego CA, 92155 intends to solicitate and award a Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order to Extreme Exposure for the procurement of JJ-CCR (Closed Circuit Rebreather) Underwater Breathing Apparatus (UBA). 

The contract action is for commercial supplies pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services and FAR 6.103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 459110 - Sporting Goods Retailers. The size standard is $26.5M. 

 All qualified sources must respond no later than the date and time specified under General Information within this special notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice shall not be construed as a RFP or an obligation on the part of the Government.
