Description
The City of Stebbins, Alaska, was issued Permit to Appropriate Water LAS 27409 on January 3, 2024, authorizing the withdrawal of up to 80,000 gallons per day from June 1st through October 31st each year from West Clear Lake for public water supply. A request to amend the permit was received on July 6, 2026, to add a man-made 12-million-gallon storage reservoir (Reindeer Reservoir) to the supply line, with no changes to the purpose, amount, period, or conditions of use.
