Description
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is proposing to relinquish the State's Statehood Act entitlement land selection of the surface estate while retaining oil, gas, and mineral interests for a Native Allotment located two miles west of the Denali Highway and forty-four miles southeast of Cantwell, Alaska. The allotment contains approximately 160 acres and is currently under Federal management and ownership. The purpose of the relinquishment is to facilitate conveyance of Dingell Act allotment application F-97904, which allows eligible Alaska Native Vietnam Veterans to apply for allotments of up to 160 acres of land. The public is invited to submit comments on the proposed relinquishment by October 9, 2026.
