This opportunity from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) seeks specialized electrical conduit reattachment services at the Denver Air Traffic Control Tower (DEN ATCT). - Government Buyer: - Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) - AAQ-500 Regional Acquisitions office - Contracting Officer: Linda Hennequant - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; all materials and equipment must meet engineering and safety standards - Products/Services Requested: - Reattachment of seven electrical conduit runs (approx. 60 feet, 2,000 lbs) that have detached and are resting on HVAC ductwork - Diagnostic inspection using infrared thermography, borescope, TDR testing, and insulation resistance (megger) tester - Risk assessment and development of engineered supports - Supply of conduit support hardware (channel strut, brackets, beam clamps, fittings, conduit clamps, anchors, fasteners) - Provision of confined space-specific PPE, lifting and rigging equipment rated for at least 2,000 lbs, and confined space entry kits - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Work must be performed in a confined space with strict safety protocols - Qualified personnel required: Master Electrician, Professional Engineer, Certified Rigger - Physical reattachment work is limited to midnight shifts (11:00 PM to 4:00 AM) - Two separate Operational Risk Management Planning (ORMP) coordination windows required before mobilization - All labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision must be provided by the contractor - Project duration is 65 calendar days from Notice to Proceed, divided into five phases - Estimated contract value is less than $100,000 - No specific part numbers or product brands are listed; all materials must comply with FAA engineering and safety requirements.

Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing Screening Information Request (SIR) Number 697DCK-26-R-00391 Reattach Electrical Conduit, Denver Air Traffic Control Tower (DEN ATCT), 9800 Peña Blvd, Denver, CO 80249 in accordance with the attached Request for Proposal (RFP).

The project duration is 65 calendar days from the receipt of the Notice to Proceed, covering only on-site work and consisting of five work phases.

The monetary magnitude is less than $100,000.00.

SITE VISIT

Please see RFP Section L - INSTRUCTIONS, CONDITIONS, AND NOTICES TO OFFERORS Provision 3.2.2.3-63 SITE VISIT (CONSTRUCTION) (JUL 2024).  The FAA urges and expects offerors to inspect the site where the work will be performed. A site visit is scheduled for 2 September 2026 at 9:30 am Local Time. Information provided at this site visit, as well as answers to questions will not change/qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications.  Terms remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. ATTENDANCE AT THE SITE VISIT IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED.
