Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) is seeking bids for advanced wireless networking equipment and associated licenses to upgrade its internal connections infrastructure. - Government Buyer: - Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS), Milwaukee Board of School Directors - Senior Director of Technology: Chad Meyer - OEMs and Vendors: - Preferred OEM: Extreme Networks - Equipment must be compatible with Cisco and Extreme Networks infrastructure - Products/Services Requested: - 1028 WiFi 7 Wireless Access Points (Extreme Networks AP4020-WW or equivalent) - 1028 Adapter Brackets (ACC-BKT-AX-ADAPT-012 or equivalent) - 1028 Five-Year Licenses for Wireless Access Points (Extreme EP1-STD-TA-S-C-EW-5YR or equivalent) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Equipment must support WPA3 Enterprise, flexible radio modes (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, 6 GHz), 802.3at PoE+, and 5000 Mbps wired infrastructure - Must integrate with Cisco ISE security features and cloud management (no additional on-premises hardware required) - Mounting hardware must be compatible with Cisco AIR-AP-BRACKET-1 and AIR-AP-BRACKET-2; custom or aftermarket modifications are not permitted - Licenses must offer single-sign-on, 99.9% platform reachability, operational continuity during outages, and flexible activation - Installation is excluded; delivery required within 15 business days of notification - E-rate program participation is required - Proposals must address customer service, implementation plans, and any exceptions to contract terms

Milwaukee Public Schools is seeking bids for wireless access points, licenses, and mounting bracket hardware or their equivalents as specified in RFP 1178. The procurement includes internal connections such as cabling, with a quantity of 160 feet.
