This opportunity is for the Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), National Acquisitions Section and Chaplaincy Services Branch, seeking a contractor to develop and maintain the Community Reentry Network (CRN) database for faith-based organizations (FBOs) supporting inmate reentry. - Government Buyer: - Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons - National Acquisitions Section and Chaplaincy Services Branch - Scope of Work: - Develop, maintain, and expand an agency-wide electronic clearinghouse (CRN) of faith-based resources for inmate reentry referrals and mentoring - Recruit, vet, and enter faith-based organizations (churches, mosques, temples, Native American and Hispanic faith groups, and community service organizations) into the CRN database - Conduct outreach to diverse faith communities and host focus groups - Perform annual reverification of FBOs in the database - Provide regular progress reports - Database development and management in Salesforce - Unique Requirements: - Contractor must have experience with faith-based organizations, data management, and bilingual staff - 100% Women-Owned Small Business set-aside - Annual reverification and outreach to smaller and minority faith groups are emphasized - No specific OEMs or hardware/software vendors are named; the focus is on service delivery and database management - Period of performance is up to 66 months (base year, four option years, and a 6-month extension)

Description

The BOP requires a contractor to add Faith Based Resources such as churches, Mosques, Temples, and Faith Based community services organizations, to an agency-wide Community Reentry Network (CRN)—an electronic informational clearinghouse of faith-based organizations for reentry referrals and mentoring support for inmates upon their release. The Contractor would be responsible for locating resources, confirming the resources can meet ex-offenders needs, and entering information into the database.
