Description
The Town of Tyrone is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide residential curbside solid waste collection and recycling services for residential properties located within the municipal limits of the Town. The successful proposer shall furnish all labor, supervision, vehicles, equipment, containers, customer service, billing, disposal, recycling collection, and all other resources necessary to provide dependable residential curbside solid waste collection and recycling services. The Town currently provides an exclusive residential collection franchise where individual residents establish service directly with the contractor, who is responsible for customer billing and service. The contract term is initially three years starting January 1, 2027, with an option to renew for an additional three years.
