(Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business) - OEM: Edwards Lifesciences LLC (sole source provider of proprietary hemodynamic monitors) - Products required: - 12 HemoSphere Alta Smart Recovery Bundles (includes Acumen IQ/ClearSight, Pressure Cable for Acumen IQ/FloTrac, Alta 360, 24-month Alta 360 Program) - 12 Pressure Controller Covers - 12 HemoSphere Roll Stands - Services required: - One-year full-service maintenance agreement (all parts, labor, repairs, 24/7 support, software updates, next-day replacement) - 24-month warranty for Alta 360 Program - Delivery location: Dallas VA Medical Center, VA North Texas Veterans Health Care System - Equipment must support advanced hemodynamic monitoring, predictive analytics, and compatibility with existing Edwards sensors/disposables - Delivery required within 30 days after award; systems operational within 30 days of delivery - Maintenance services scheduled during business hours, excluding Federal holidays - Only Edwards Lifesciences equipment is acceptable due to proprietary requirements - Commercial competitors may include GE Healthcare, Philips Healthcare, and Dräger, but only Edwards is specified as acceptable - Estimated contract value likely ranges from $250,000 to $500,000 based on equipment and service scope

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 17, intends to award a firm-fixed priced contract to 1st American Medical Distributors, Inc.,151 Heritage Park Dr. STE 201 Murfreesboro, TN 37129-0505 for procurement of the following equipment:

The proposed sole source procurement will be made by a standalone firm-fixed price contract award.

The requesting activity has submitted a sole source letter from Edwards Lifsciences stating that Edwards Lifesciences LLC is the sole source provider of Edwards hemodynamic monitors and their components, including but not limited to: HemoSphere Monitor HemoSphere Alta Monitor HemoSphere Vita Monitor HemoSphere Stream Module

These monitors are proprietary to Edwards. 1st American Medical Distributors, Inc. ( 1st American ) is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and is authorized to distribute to the VA and Department of Defense.

This notice is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No contract will be awarded based on offers received in response to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals or offers received will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government. If no affirmative written response is received within 4 days from the publication of this notice, a contract or order will be issued to 1St American Medical Distributors, Inc., without any further notice.

The anticipated authority permitting other than full and open competition for the requirement is 41 U.S.C. 1901 and RFO FAR 12.201-1, Simplified procedures.
