Description

The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) is seeking proposals for the curbside collection of garbage and yard waste from approximately 65,536 single family dwellings within defined service zones including the City of Kelowna, City of West Kelowna, District of Lake Country, District of Peachland, and parts of Central Okanagan Electoral Areas West and East. The service term is 10 years, starting May 1, 2029 and ending April 30, 2039. The RDCO plans to execute a contract by April 30, 2027 to allow a minimum 2-year preparation period for the successful bidder. Recyclables collection is managed separately by RecycleBC and is not included in this contract.
