The City of Beaumont, TX Water Utilities/Administration is seeking bids for the rehabilitation and pump replacement of Loeb Well No. 3. - Government Buyer: - City of Beaumont, TX Water Utilities/Administration - Office: Water Administration - Scope of Work: - Contractor mobilization and demobilization - Well video inspection and follow-up inspection - Installation and removal of steel tanks and temporary discharge piping - Chlorination and acid treatment of well screens - Brush cleaning and agitation of well - Screen and casing repair (up to 5 repairs) - Supply and installation of steel fabricated discharge head with motor register - Supply and installation of column assembly and water level monitoring system - Supply and installation of new well pumps (three scenarios: 2,500 gpm at 245 ft TDH, 3,000 gpm at 280 ft TDH, 3,500 gpm at 320 ft TDH) - Transport and installation of existing well motor - Re-installation of oil pot assembly - Well and pump performance testing - Start-up and purging of well - Site restoration - Products Requested: - Steel fabricated/welded discharge head with motor register (1) - Column assembly and water level monitoring system (1) - New well pumps (18DHC 6-stage oil bowl assembly; 1 each for 2,500, 3,000, and 3,500 gpm scenarios) - Services Requested: - Well video inspection, performance testing, cleaning, repairs, and site restoration - Unique Requirements: - Compatibility with existing well motor must be verified for pump quotations - Strict adherence to provided plans and specifications - Mandatory pre-bid conference for all bidders - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; bidders must ensure compatibility and verify specifications - Notable Details: - Multiple pump size scenarios are included to accommodate different operational needs - Acid treatment and mechanical cleaning of well screens are required - Screen and casing repairs may be needed (up to 5) - All work must restore the site to pre-work condition
