The Alabama Port Authority (APA) is seeking proposals for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to supply domestic conveyor belts for the McDuffie Coal Terminal in Mobile, Alabama. - Government Buyer: - Alabama Port Authority, Procurement Department, McDuffie Coal Terminal - Products Requested: - 72-inch wide domestic conveyor belt rolls - 4-ply construction, 800 PIW, RMA Grade II or better cover - Polyester/nylon fabric, conveyor speed rating of at least 900 feet per minute - Each roll: 1,010 to 1,100 feet in length - 96-inch wide domestic conveyor belt rolls - 5-ply construction, 1250 PIW, RMA Grade II or better cover - Polyester/nylon fabric, conveyor speed rating of at least 900 feet per minute - Each roll: 1,010 to 1,100 feet in length - Quantities: - Quantities are not guaranteed; orders will be placed as needed via delivery orders - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All belts must be manufactured domestically - Rolls must be shipped on durable reels with a steel core and 6" square holes on both ends - Delivery lead time up to 150 days from order - One-year warranty covering defects and belt stretch, with replacement delivery within 150 days if needed - Firm-fixed-price per foot, inclusive of manufacturing, testing, packaging, and delivery - Contract term: 12-month base period with four optional 12-month extensions - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Multiple awards are possible; suppliers must submit pricing for all contract periods for the width size(s) they propose
