The University of Central Missouri (UCM) is seeking bids for the supply and installation of Edwards EST 3 smoke detectors at the Highlander Theatre in the Martin Building, Warrensburg, MO. - Government Buyer: - University of Central Missouri (UCM), Procurement Office, SouthEast - OEM Highlighted: - Edwards (EST 3) - Products and Services Requested: - Two Edwards EST 3 smoke detectors (part number: Edwards EST 3) - New addressable heat detectors with white bases, fully compatible with the existing Edwards EST 3 fire alarm system - Removal of two existing Edwards EST 3 beam smoke detectors and associated addressable monitor modules - Installation, programming, testing, and integration of new detectors into the current system - Updated as-built drawings - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All new fire alarm equipment must be Edwards (EST 3); no substitutions allowed - Contractor must provide all labor, materials, permits, licenses, and site restoration (including recycling of materials where possible) - Electronic bid submission, 5% bid bond, and 100% performance and payment bonds via Surety2000 - Compliance with prevailing wage laws and UCM construction insurance/safety practices - Minimum one-year warranty on all work and products - Liquidated damages apply for late completion - Project completion required by specified date, with option for alternate completion dates proposed by bidders

Description

The University of Central Missouri is soliciting bids for the supply and installation of two Edwards EST 3 smoke detectors in the Highlander Theater located in the Martin Building on the UCM Campus in Warrensburg, MO. The project includes removal of existing detectors, installation of new addressable heat detectors, programming and testing on the existing fire alarm system, and providing updated as-built drawings. Bids must be submitted electronically via the UCM Ebid system by September 1, 2026.
