Description

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), in cooperation with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), is proposing to rehabilitate the existing Taxiway R South pavement from Taxiway P to Taxiway K and Taxiway L pavement from Taxiway R to Taxilane E at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. The project includes pavement rehabilitation and replacement, airfield lighting improvements, taxiway storm drainage system rehabilitation, utility adjustments, and taxiway safety area evaluation. Construction is anticipated to begin in summer 2027. Comments are requested by September 24, 2026.
