Citrus County Technical Services is seeking contractors for the Small County Outreach Program (SCOP) Milling & Resurfacing Project on E. Gospel Island Rd (CR 470) in Lecanto, FL. - Scope of Work: - Mill approximately 4 inches of existing asphalt pavement to full depth, regardless of thickness, to expose a stable base - Overlay with two inches each of SP 12.5 and FC 12.5 hot mix asphaltic concrete (Traffic Level C) with PG 76-22 polymer binder - Asphalt must be sourced from FDOT-approved plants - Install thermoplastic pavement markings and reflective pavement markers (blue, amber, red/white) - Provide performance turf (Bahia sod) - Remove and relocate gopher tortoises as required - Compliance Requirements: - All work must meet FDOT standards, MUTCD requirements, and current Florida Greenbook criteria - Asphalt paid per ton, milling paid per square yard; unit price bid based on estimated quantities - No compensation for variations in asphalt thickness - Estimated budget is approximately $4,100,000 - No specific OEMs named; asphalt must be from FDOT-approved sources
