The U.S. Department of State Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL) is offering emergency support for individuals and organizations facing imminent threats due to their work promoting and defending fundamental freedoms such as speech, peaceful assembly, and association. This program provides short-term emergency funding to defenders at risk of attack, arbitrary arrest, detention, prosecution, or other harm, enabling them to continue their work advocating for democratic government, reform, and human rights.
