Description

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is seeking approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for the information collection related to the Nonprofit Application and Recertification for FHA-Mortgage Insurance Programs. Nonprofit organizations participating in these programs must provide housing opportunities for low- to moderate-income individuals or families and submit information about their organizational structure, experience, operations, board of directors, staff, and financial capabilities. HUD uses this information to assess the nonprofits' capacity to carry out their mission relative to the HUD programs. The notice allows for a 60-day public comment period ending on October 26, 2026.
