Solicitation for Laundry Services and Textile Support at Fort Riley, KS

The U.S. Army's Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Riley, KS is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive laundry services for multiple units and ceremonial functions. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army, MICC-FT Riley, Directorate of Contracting - 1st Infantry Division Victory Reception Company (VRC), Protocol Office, Commanding Generals Mounted Color Guard (CGMCG) - Scope of Services: - Pickup, transportation, washing, drying, folding, and delivery of linen (pillows, blankets, sheets), tablecloths, flags, and uniforms - Service locations: VRC Barracks, Protocol Office, CGMCG at Fort Riley, KS - Bi-weekly (twice per week) pickup and delivery between government sites and contractor facility - Strict quality and timeliness standards, including inventory tracking, damage reporting, and quality control - Mandatory background checks and security compliance for personnel - Products/Items Supported: - Large quantities of wool/fleece blankets, cotton pillowcases and sheets, nylon flags (various sizes), wool pants, jackets, linen shirts, wool vests, table napkins, fitted tablecloths, ascots, and white gloves - Quantities range from 2 to 6000 pieces per item - Contract Structure: - Firm fixed-price contract - Base period plus four one-year option periods (total potential duration: 5 years) - Set aside for small businesses under NAICS 812320 ($8M size standard) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or manufacturers are named; all items are standard textiles and uniforms - Unique Requirements: - Inventory management and reporting - Quality control inspections - Security and background checks for staff - Support for ceremonial and protocol functions - Attachments: - Performance Work Statement (PWS) - Pricing Sheet - Solicitation Amendment

Description

The Contractor shall provide complete laundry services for linen/bedding (pillows, blankets, sheets) and CGMCG / Protocol tablecloths, flags, and uniforms. This includes the pickup, transportation, washing, and return of all items. The Contractor will service VRC, Bldg. 208, Custer Ave, Ft Riley, KS – CGMCG, Bldg 275, Law Avenue, Ft Riley, KS – and 1ID Protocol, Bldg 580, Reed Ave, Ft Riley, KS two times per week, transporting items between the government location(s) and the Contractor's own facility.
