Description

The New York State Office of Children & Family Services (OCFS) is soliciting interest from qualified entities to participate in the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (DPIL) program. This program mails free, high-quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth until their 5th birthday. OCFS seeks to provide financial assistance to new Local Program Partners and to expand existing coverage areas within New York City. Grants up to $50,000 will cover up to 50% of a Local Program Partner’s costs, with partners paying an average of $2.60 per child per month for book and mailing costs. Eligible applicants include NYS 501(c)(3) libraries, public library systems, not-for-profits within NYC boroughs, or NYC school districts.
