Description
The New York State Office of Children & Family Services (OCFS) is soliciting interest from qualified entities to participate in the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (DPIL) program. This program mails free, high-quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth until their 5th birthday. OCFS seeks to contract with organizations to provide financial assistance to new and established Local Program Partners to increase enrollment and expand coverage areas. Grants up to $50,000 will cover up to 50% of the monthly costs incurred by Local Program Partners for books and mailing. Eligible applicants include New York State 501(c)(3) libraries, public library systems, not-for-profit organizations, school districts, or BOCES outside New York City's five boroughs.
