Description

The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) is soliciting bids to provide water treatment services at the Queensboro facility located at 47-04 VanDam Street, Long Island City, NY. The contract term is up to five years, from January 1, 2027 to December 31, 2031. The contractor must have five years of experience treating potable water systems for institutional facilities and will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services including design, installation, preventative maintenance, inspection, calibration, reporting, and testing of a commercial-grade NSF 61 compliant copper-silver ionization water disinfection system to achieve Legionella compliance on the domestic hot water service at the facility.
