Juneteenth Festival Inc. seeks proposals from qualified environmental and engineering firms to conduct a comprehensive site investigation of an approximately 7,500 square foot urban parcel that was formerly residential housing, then a parking lot, and is now vacant. The investigation aims to identify environmental liabilities, assess soil and foundation conditions, and evaluate infrastructure capacity to determine viable future building options. The planned project will transform the vacant lot into a multi-functional, community-oriented space for parking, outdoor events, community gatherings, and green space. The goal is to create a safe, accessible, and welcoming environment supporting daily operations and large-scale community events such as the Juneteenth Festival.
