The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is seeking bids for the supply and servicing of parts washers/recyclers and environmentally certified scale removers for use in Districts 1-3. - Government Buyer: - Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), Finance & Administration division - Products/Services Requested: - Parts washers/recyclers (sinks on drums) for cleaning engine and equipment parts, including laboratory testing supplies - Environmentally certified scale removers (acid type cleaners) for dishwashers, steam tables, and similar equipment - Quantities: - Scale remover: 716 units (District 1), 216 units (District 2), 112 units (District 3) - Requirements: - Vendors must bid on each line item for each district; bidding on all districts is not mandatory - Pricing must be F.O.B. destination, freight prepaid to Springfield, Schaumburg, Dixon, and Ottawa, Illinois - 7% Business Enterprise Program (BEP) participation goal - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - All products must be environmentally certified where specified

Description

The agency seeks vendor(s) to supply and service parts washers/recyclers (sinks on drums) for use in cleaning engine and other equipment parts, including laboratory testing supplies in Districts 1-3. Vendors shall bid on each line item for each of the three Districts. Vendor is not required to bid on all Districts, but by bidding on a single line item or District, the Vendor is bidding on all locations listed within the specified District. All pricing shall be F.O.B. destination, freight prepaid to delivery location as specified. There is a 7% BEP Goal.
