The Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) is soliciting qualifications for prime professional Site Services Engineering (SSE) for Project #25-017-0802, the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Public Health Laboratory (DPHL2) expansion. The project involves design and construction of a new 220,000-square-foot laboratory building adjacent to the existing facility in Austin, TX, including Biosafety Level 1, 2, and 3 labs. The selected engineering team will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver a flexible, innovative, and technically complex facility supporting future expansion. The contract term is anticipated to be approximately 450 calendar days, with funding appropriated by the Texas Legislature.
