The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is seeking qualified contractors to provide comprehensive trail design, development, and maintenance services across six State Parks Regions in Texas. - Government Buyer: - Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), Purchasing and Contracting C-1 Office - Contact: Allye Potter, CPPB, CTCD - Scope of Services: - Trail design, mapping, and assessment - GPS/GIS survey, trail flagging, and layout - Corridor cutting and trail tread construction - Installation of culverts, French drains, boardwalks, bridges, stone/timber steps, retaining walls, gabions, armored tread/drainages, paving, and soil stabilization - Drainage structures, accessibility audits and improvements, trail signage, and erosion control techniques - Geographic Coverage: - Six State Parks Regions, including major cities such as Austin, Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio - Contract Structure: - Blanket contracts awarded on an as-needed basis - Initial term of one year, with options for up to two additional two-year renewals and possible 12-month extensions - Multiple awards per region based on qualifications, experience, and best value - Requirements: - Contractors must demonstrate relevant experience, provide detailed company profiles, key personnel, equipment lists, past project examples, and technical approaches - Insurance and background checks may be required - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are referenced; focus is on professional services and technical capabilities
