The Navy Environmental and Preventive Medicine Unit Six (NEPMU6) Directorate equipment maintenance services for IST’s system ensures the system is operable and maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.  In addition, the services confirm that the equipment performs in accordance with NEPMU6 standards.  This personal technical expertise confirmed that the proprietary programming and integration established by IST cannot be serviced by alternative vendors without risking system failure. To validate these findings, consultations were conducted with government stakeholders and industry manufacturers, confirming that only IST holds the authorized certifications and OEM partnerships required for this site.
