Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking qualified contractors for the replacement and preventive maintenance of Elevator #4 at Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, New Mexico. - Government Buyer: - Indian Health Service (IHS) - Northern Navajo Medical Center - Scope of Work: - Complete removal and replacement of Elevator #4 with a new, code-compliant elevator system - Includes control system, drive system, cab, doors, communication and signaling systems, safety devices, wiring, and associated components - Must comply with ASME A17.1, NFPA codes, ADA guidelines, and local regulations - Installation, demolition, restoration, commissioning, and testing - Preventive maintenance for one year post-installation, with four optional annual extensions - Services Requested: - Elevator installation and demolition - Commissioning and testing - Preventive maintenance (routine inspection, lubrication, adjustment, testing, cleaning, corrective actions) - Unique Requirements: - Minimal disruption to hospital operations - Compliance with safety and infection control requirements - Targeting Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE), Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE), and small business concerns - No specific OEMs, brands, or part numbers are named; contractors must provide a fully functional, code-compliant elevator system.
